Joystick Valves (Pilot Handle Hydraulic Control Valves)
Joystick valves are pilot control components used in mobile machinery hydraulic systems, forming the operator interface between manual input and main directional control valves. Rather than directly handling main system flow, joystick valves generate and manage pilot pressure signals that remotely actuate the spools of main control valves, enabling precise and low-effort operation.
A typical joystick valve system consists of hydraulic pilot joysticks, which convert handle displacement into proportional pilot pressure, and pilot pressure reducing valves, which regulate and stabilize pilot pressure supply. Together, they ensure consistent control response, smooth motion and reliable multi-function operation under varying system pressures.
By separating manual operation from the main hydraulic flow, pilot joystick systems reduce operating force, improve controllability and allow flexible layout of operator stations. These systems are widely applied in construction machinery, lifting equipment, mining machinery and other mobile hydraulic applications where precise and coordinated control is required.
